Tourism now is the dominant industry, thanks to the advent of commercial air travel in recent decades. The island of St. Barths, and many other islands in the vicinity, can be visited in short, fun trips by catamaran, where you can stop, swim and look with absolute clarity at the amazing array of beautiful fish along the way. The resorts and golf courses of St. Martin are among the finest in the world, and will cater to your every whim.
